Lessons learned: Wie man Daten intelligent nutzt und konzernweit gut zusammenarbeitet Lessons learned: How to use data intelligently and work well together across the Group

Herzliche Einladung!

How do you use data intelligently and how can Group-wide collaboration succeed? The speakers Steffen Vierkorn (Qunis) and Pia Burkarth (Giesecke + Devrient) answer these questions, also with “lessons learned” for controlling practice, in two lectures on the topic of New Work, which the CCS Controlling Competence Stuttgart addresses on November 26, 2020, online.

Steffen Vierkorn is the Managing Director of Qunis and calls to the participants in his speech: “Transform your business!” – and for good reason: Intelligent use of data changes business models, processes and markets, according to his thesis, which he presents at the ICV online conference and also answers the question of whether technology alone is the key to success. His final report should prove to be a particularly valuable contribution to the practice of controllers: on the lessons learned from more than 100 initiatives and how these affect controlling.

Pia Burkarth, Corporate Controlling at Giesecke + Devrient, focuses on the social components and mechanisms of New Work. It’s about leadership and collaboration, mobile working, flexible office concepts and how all of this can be achieved across the Group in such a way that costs are reduced while the efficiency and loyalty of employees increase at the same time. What sounds like an almost unsolvable task is a feasible undertaking for Pia Burkarth if you rely on a flexible work culture and the resulting freedom, but especially on cross-functional interdisciplinary cooperation and thus on breaking down silo mentalities.

After each speech (12:00 noon Vierkorn and 2:00 p.m. Burkarth) Michael Plentinger, Managing Director of Greple GmbH, moderates the discussion with the participants of the CCS. Plentinger is no stranger to loyal CCS visitors, as he himself was a speaker on the subject of artificial intelligence in human resources management in Ehningen last year. Instead of going to Swabia, the ICV event organizers from Controlling Competence Stuttgart invite to the Internet this year – and have discovered an equally unusual and exciting event format as a new conference venue: With the conference software SPACES, the CCS organizers and visitors are not a flat image on the computer monitor, but instead appear as avatars in three dimensions in the middle of the action and move realistically through conference rooms, take part in discussions – whether discreetly in pairs or in larger groups – and experience the controlling conference in the truest sense of the word, on the eye level and shoulder to shoulder (and yet without the risk of infection). We’re looking forward to seeing you!

The event takes place in German.
