Dr. Nicholas Matten, Gechäftsführer Vertrieb, Marketing und Finanzen, eröffnet am 26. November mit seiner Keynote “Corona als Teilchenbeschleuniger für Controlling und Vertrieb” die ICV-Online-Fachtagung CCS. In 17 Jahren als ICV-Präsenzveranstaltung bei IBM in Ehningen bei Stuttgart hat sich die traditionelle Herbsttagung als “Controlling Competence Stuttgart” einen festen Platz im Kalender aller Controlling-Interessierten aus dem Süden Deutschlands gesichert, die sich rechtzeitig zum Jahresabschluss durch den Austausch mit Experten und Kollegen auf den neuesten Fachwissenstand bringen wollen.
Das CCS-Orga-Team geht in diesem 18. Jahr der Veranstaltung in vielerlei Hinsicht neue Wege. Dazu gehört auch der Wechsel ins Online-Format mit innovativer 3-D-Optik mit Avator-Modus für alle Teilnehmenden (wir werden noch im Detail berichten). Auch das Programm fokusiert die neuen Realitäten – für Controlling und Finance. Passend dazu spricht Dr. Nicholas Matten die Eröffnungs-Keynote. Auch er hat vor vier Jahren neue Wege eingeschlagen. Zwei Jahrzehnte lang war der studierte Maschinenbauer zuvor beim Schiltacher Sanitärhersteller Hansgrohe Business Unit Leiter gewesen, ab 2012 verantwortlich für das globale Projektgeschäft sowie Vice President Sales für CIS-Länder, Middle East, Turkey & Africa. Als 54-Jähriger wechselte er dann vom Schwarzwald in die “Stadt der Düfte und Aromen” im Weserbergland: Holzminden wurde sein neuer beruflicher Mittelpunkt. Auch fünf Autostunden entfernt von seiner langjährigen Heimat blieb er als gebürtiger Engländer und damit Insulaner seiner Leidenschaft, dem Wasser, treu. Neben der Warmwasserbereitung, dem bekanntesten Geschäftsfeld von Stiebel Eltron, begeistert sich Dr. Nicholas Matten, der neben Englisch und Deutsch auch Italienisch und Französisch spricht, vor allem für den Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien, wie er dem KI-Portal m August 2016, unmittelbar nach seinem Wechsel nach Holzminden, verraten hat: “Das ist ein extrem spannender Markt, der in Europa – aber auch weltweit – großes Potenzial bietet” (Quelle KI-Portal).

Dr. Nicholas Matten, Managing Director Sales, Marketing and Finance, opens the ICV online conference CCS on November 26 with his keynote “Corona as a particle accelerator for controlling and sales”. In 17 years as an ICV face-to-face event at IBM in Ehningen near Stuttgart, the traditional autumn conference called “Controlling Competence Stuttgart” has found its place in the calendars of all those interested in controlling from southern Germany who want to bring colleagues up to date with the latest expertise.
The CCS Organization Team is breaking new ground in many ways in this 18th year of the event. This also includes switching to the online format with innovative 3-D optics with avator mode for all participants (we will report in detail later). The agenda also focuses on the new realities – for controlling and finance. Appropriately, Dr. Nicholas Matten gives the opening keynote. Four years ago he broke new ground too. For two decades, the mechanical engineer had been Business Unit Manager at the Schiltach sanitary ware manufacturer Hansgrohe, since 2012 responsible for global project business and Vice President Sales for CIS countries, Middle East, Turkey & Africa. At the age of 54 he then moved from the Black Forest to the “city of scents and aromas” in the German Weser Uplands: Holzminden became his new professional focus. Even five hours by car from his long-standing home, as a native of England and thus an islander, he remained true to his passion, water. In addition to hot water preparation, Stiebel Eltron’s best-known business area, Dr. Nicholas Matten, who speaks Italian and French in addition to English and German, is enthusiastic especially about the field of renewable energies, as he revealed to the KI portal in August 2016, immediately after moving to Holzminden: “This is an extremely exciting market which offers great potential in Europe – but also worldwide “(source: KI-Portal).
