Die 22. Controlling Insights Steyr am 24.11.2023 steht im Zeichen des Wandels und der Transformation. Namhafte internationale Referierende teilen ihr Wissen und präsentieren erfolgreiche Controllinglösungen.
FH-Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler, Vorstandsvorsitzender des ICV, Vorsitzender des IGC und Studiengangsleiter für CRF – Controlling, Rechnungswesen und Finanzmanagement an der FH OÖ Fakultät für Wirtschaft und Management in Steyr, eröffnet das Event um 9:30 Uhr.
Um 9.45 Uhr startet der erste Vortrag mit Mag. Sebastian Wolf, dem Vorsitzenden des Vorstands der Rosenbauer International AG in Leonding. Sein Thema lautet: “Refocus, Restart: Neudenken des Geschäftsmodells in Zeiten von Inflation und Lieferkettenstörungen”. Er berichtet über die Herausforderungen, die die energiepreisinduzierte Inflation und die unterbrochenen Lieferketten für den Weltmarktführer im Bereich Feuerwehrfahrzeuge darstellen.
Im Anschluss, von 10:25 Uhr bis 11:05 Uhr, wird Mag. Harold W. Kostka, CFO der Wintersteiger Holding AG in Ried im Innkreis, einen Vortrag mit dem Titel “Convert the Top-Line – Digitale Transformation des Geschäftsmodells in der Old Economy” halten. Dabei wird er Themen wie Servitization, neue KPIs und finanzielle Steuerungslogik des neuen Geschäftsmodells sowie die Rolle des Controllings in diesem Transformationsprozess erläutern.
Nach einer Kaffeepause und einer Gelegenheit, das Ausstellerforum zu besuchen, steht die Verleihung des ICV-Newcomer Awards 2023 auf dem Programm.
Um 12.20 Uhr teilt Dr. Kay-Uwe May, Leiter Transformation und Organisation bei der Deutschen Bahn, sein Wissen. In “Die Transformation eines Riesen” wird er berichten, was die Deutsche Bahn unter “Transformation” versteht und welche Auswirkungen dies auf die Steuerung und das Controlling des Unternehmens hat.
Nach einer Mittagspause und erneuter Gelegenheit zum Besuch des Ausstellerforums wird um 14:20 Uhr Matthias von Daacke, Managing Director – Head of Global Controlling bei der BLANCO Group, die Bühne betreten. In “Von der Strategie zum Performance Management” geht er auf Marktveränderungen, strategische Neupositionierung und die Bedeutung von treiberbasierten Szenarien in der modernen Planung ein.
Um 15:00 Uhr findet ein Controlling Round-Table statt, moderiert von Barbara Eidenberger von den Oberösterreichischen Nachrichten. TeilnehmerInnen sind Mag. Maria Steiner von der VKB-Bank, Prof. Dr. Othmar M. Lehner von der Wirtschaftsuniversität Helsinki und Direktor Sustainabilitiy Reporting bei KPMG Austria sowie Mag. Otto Leodolter, Geschäftsführer der Löffler GmbH. Das Thema des Round-Table ist die Standortbestimmung im Nachhaltigkeitscontrolling und die Vorbereitung auf die kommende Berichtspflicht für nachhaltige Unternehmensteuerung.
Um 16:15 Uhr gebn Mag. Achim Kratschmayr, MBA, Leitung Finanzen und Controlling, und Mag. Christopher Binder-Radinger MSc, Digital Transformation Engineer, voestalpine Stahl GmbH, Einblicke ins “Machine Forecasting im Finanzplanungsprozess”.
Die Veranstaltung wird um 17.00 Uhr mit einem Schlusswort von FH-Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler beendet, gefolgt von einem gemütlichen Ausklang.

FH Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler, Chairman of the ICV, Chairman of the IGC and Course Director for CRF – Controlling, Accounting and Financial Management at the FH Upper Austria Faculty of Economics and Management in Steyr, opens the event at 9:30 a.m.
The first lecture starts at 9.45 a.m. with Mag. Sebastian Wolf, Chairman of the Board of Rosenbauer International AG in Leonding. His topic is: “Refocus, Restart: Rethinking the business model in times of inflation and supply chain disruptions”. He reports on the challenges that energy price-induced inflation and disrupted supply chains pose for the world leader in fire engines.
Afterwards, from 10:25 a.m. to 11:05 a.m., Mag. Harold W. Kostka, CFO of Wintersteiger Holding AG in Ried im Innkreis, gives a lecture entitled “Convert the Top-Line – Digital Transformation of the Business Model in the “Old Economy”. He explains topics such as servitization, new KPIs and financial management logic of the new business model as well as the role of controlling in this transformation process.
After a coffee break and an opportunity to visit the Exhibitor Forum, the presentation of the ICV Newcomer Award 2023 is on the program.

After a lunch break and another opportunity to visit the exhibitor forum, Matthias von Daacke, Managing Director – Head of Global Controlling at the BLANCO Group, takes the stage at 2:20 p.m. In “From Strategy to Performance Management” he addresses market changes, strategic repositioning and the importance of driver-based scenarios in modern planning.
A controlling round table takes place at 3:00 p.m., moderated by Barbara Eidenberger from Oberösterreichische Nachrichten. Participants are Mag. Maria Steiner from the VKB-Bank, Prof. Dr. Othmar M. Lehner from the Helsinki University of Economics and Business and Director of Sustainability Reporting at KPMG Austria and Mag. Otto Leodolter, Managing Director of Löffler GmbH. The topic of the round table is determining the position in sustainability controlling and preparing for the upcoming reporting requirement for sustainable corporate management.
