Vorträge aus ganz unterschiedlichen Branchen bietet das Themenzentrum B „Erfolgreiche Nachhaltigkeitscontrolling in der Praxis“ auf dem 47. Congress der Controller am 15./16. Mai in München. Fünf Experten und Expertinnen stehen am Montagnachmittag auf der Bühne und teilen ihr Wissen. Claudia Maron, Vorstandsmitglied des ICV, moderiert und wird unter anderem Alexander Bauer als Referenten begrüßen.
Gemeinsam mit seinem Kollegen Fabian Egger berichtet er von „Nachhaltigkeit und Controlling bei der Emmi Gruppe“. Die Teilnehmenden des Congress erfahren unter anderem, wie die größte Milchverarbeiterin der Schweiz Nachhaltigkeitsziele umsetzt.
Alexander Bauer ist seit bereits seit 2009 bei der Emmi Gruppe tätig – zuerst als Leiter Geschäftsbereichscontrolling Industrie Emmi Schweiz, seit 2017 als Leiter Controlling Division Schweiz. Während seiner kaufmännischen Lehre sammelte er erste Erfahrungen im Agrar- und Lebensmittelumfeld bei der Firma Omya, bevor er als Factory Controller zum Tabakunternehmen JT International wechselte. In dieser Zeit absolvierte Alexander Bauer berufsbegleitend eine Ausbildung zum Fachmann in Finanz- und Rechnungswesen. Auch mit einem Studium zum eidgenössisch diplomierten Experten für Rechnungslegung und Controlling ergänzte er seine Berufserfahrungen. Seither fungiert er als Prüfungsexperte.

The Topic Cluster B “Successful sustainability controlling in practice” at the 47th Congress of Controllers on May 15/16 in Munich. Together with his colleague Fabian Egger, he reports on “Sustainability and Controlling at the Emmi Group“. Among other things, the participants of the Congress can learn how the largest milk processor in Switzerland implements sustainability goals.
Alexander Bauer has been with the Emmi Group since 2009 – first as Head of the Controlling Industry Emmi Switzerland business unit, and since 2017 as Head of the Controlling Division Switzerland. During his commercial apprenticeship, he gained initial experience in the agricultural and food environment at Omya, before moving to the tobacco company JT International as a factory controller. During this time, Alexander Bauer completed part-time training to become a specialist in finance and accounting. He also supplemented his professional experience with a degree to become a Swiss certified expert in accounting and controlling. Since then he has acted as an audit expert.
