Am vergangenen Donnerstag (11. Oktober) konnte ich an der Moskauer Baumann Universität die erfolgreiche Verteidigung der Doktorarbeit unseres ehemaligen Arbeitskreisleiters Estland, Harald Kitzmann (Bild rechts), mitverfolgen. Einstimmig fiel das positive Urteil der 16-köpfigen Kommission (Bild unten) aus ProfessorInnen russischer Universitäten aus. Harald Kitzmann hatte seine Arbeit, „Entwicklung eines Modells zum Managen von Flexibilität auf strategischer und operativer Ebene für Fertigungsunternehmen“, in russischer Sprache vorgelegt. Wissenschaftlicher Leiter war Prof. Dr. Sergey Falko (Bild links) von der Baumann Universität, Vorsitzender der Russischen Controllervereinigung, mit der der Internationale Controller Verein (ICV) und die International Group of Controlling (IGC) seit Jahren kooperieren. Die Dispute wurden auf Russisch und Deutsch, live übersetzt, geführt.
Die Arbeit Kitzmanns zielt auf die Entwicklung systemtheoretischer Lösungen, die auf den Prinzipien der Selbstorganisation, Komplex- sowie Chaostheorie und ähnlichem basieren. In seiner Arbeit entwickelte er ein Modell, das die Bewertung und das Potenzial der Flexibilität berücksichtigt. Mit seiner Arbeit schlägt Kitzmann auch einen Ansatz zur Bildung von KPIs für das strategische Management von Flexibilität vor. Dieser beruht auf der Anwendung von Wahrscheinlichkeits- und Expertenbewertungstechniken und soll die individuelle Bewertung strategischer Maßnahmen berücksichtigen können.
Harald Kitzmann hat 1989 sein BWL-Studium an der Universität Köln mit den Schwerpunkten Industriebetriebslehre, Beschaffungs- und Produktlehre, Informatik als Diplom-Kaufmann abgeschlossen. Einen ersten Anlauf zur Promotion zur Thematik „Model zur Messung unternehmerischer Führungstätigkeiten. Theorie und Praxis“ unternahm er im Herbst 2003 an der Tallinner Technischen Universität. Ende August 2016 wurde er an der Moskauer Baumann Universität als externer Doktorant aufgenommen, wo er seine Arbeit unter dem Titel: „Разработка модели управления гибкостью предприятия на оперативном и стратегическом уровне“ („Entwicklung eines Modeles zum Managen von Flexibilität auf strategischer und operativer Ebene für Fertigungsunternehmen“) begann. Nun ist Dr. Harald Kitzmann also „Кандидат экономических наук“ („Kandidat der ökonomischen Wissenschaften“). Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
Last Thursday (October 11) I was able to follow the successful defense of the PdD thesis of our former work group leader Estonia, Harald Kitzmann (picture right) at the Moscow Baumann University. The positive opinion of the 16-member commission (picture below) from professors of Russian universities was unanimous. Harald Kitzmann presented his thesis “Developing a model for managing flexibility at the strategic and operational level for manufacturing companies” in Russian. Scientific director was Prof. Dr. Sergey Falko (picture left) from Baumann University, chairman of the Russian Controller Association, with whom the International Association of Controllers (ICV) and the International Group of Controlling (IGC) have been cooperating for years. The disputes were conducted in Russian and German, translated live.
Kitzmann’s work aims to develop system-theoretical solutions based on the principles of self-organization, complex and chaos theory and the like. In his thesis, he developed a model that takes into account the evaluation and potential of flexibility. With his work, Kitzmann also proposes an approach to the formation of KPIs for the strategic management of flexibility. This is based on the use of probability and expert assessment techniques and takes into account the individual assessment of strategic measures.
Harald Kitzmann graduated in Business Administration at the University of Cologne in 1989 as a Diplom-Kaufmann with a focus on Industrial Management, Procurement and Product Engineering, Computer Science. He undertook his first attempt on the topic of “A model for measuring entrepreneurial leadership activities. Theory and practice” in autumn 2003 at the Tallinn Technical University. At the end of August 2016, he was accepted as an external PhD student at the Moscow University of Technology, where he wrote his thesis entitled: “Разработка модели управления гибкостью предприятия на оперативном и стратегическом уровне” (“Developing a model for managing flexibility at the strategic and operational level for manufacturing companies”). So now Dr. Harald Kitzmann is “Кандидат экономических наук” (“candidate of the economic sciences”). Congratulations!
