An “active and deep exchange” on controlling-relevant topics between the International Association of Controllers (ICV) and the controlling professors of the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt (FHE) – between science and practice – is the goal of a recently concluded cooperation agreement between the FHE and the ICV.
The contract states that the cooperation should bridge the gap between theory and practice and promote the exchange of ideas between the two institutions. The parties agreed to create opportunities to mutually visit events of each partner. The ICV offers five best students of each of the master degree programs “Master Finance & Accounting” and “Bachelor Business Administration” a one-year free trial membership called “Young Talent ICV Membership”.
Another agreed point of the cooperation is to make an overview of scientific and student dissertations from the field of economics accessible to the ICV. The participation of the ICV experts in subject-related seminars of the FHE and the possible mutual participation in expert events organized by the partners are also part of the cooperation agreement. FHE professor and PhD candidates will also have access to the full content of the ICV website.
The cooperation agreement has been signed by FHE Rector Prof. Dr.-Ing. Volker Zerbe and Prof. Dr. Hans-Christian Gröger, professorship for economics, esp. controlling / internal corporate accounting, and by the ICV Chairman Siegfried Gänßlen and Board Member Karl-Heinz-Steinke.
