Die Spannung steigt – die ICV Jury hat nach intensiven Beratungen die drei Nominierten für den ICV Controlling Excellence Award 2024 ausgewählt. Doch wer sind eigentlich die Experten und Expertinnen, die alle Bewerbungen gesichtet und bewertet haben?
2024 wird in gewohnter Tradition die Auszeichnung auf dem 48. Congress der Controller verliehen. Dieser begehrte Preis zeichnet besonders innovative Controlling-Lösungen aus, die einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung des Controllings leisten.
Zur Jury gehört der Jury-Vorsitzende Prof. Dr. Utz Schäffer, Vorsitzender des ICV Kuratoriums und Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Controlling am Institut für Management und Controlling der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Mit dabei ist außerdem Prof. Dr. Andreas Seufert, Leiter des Business Innovation Labs an der Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft Ludwigshafen und Direktor des Instituts für Business Intelligence an der Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin. Ebenso hat Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini, Professorin für Controlling und Risikomanagement an der FH Kiel und Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats der Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein, die Entscheidung beeinflusst. Auch die Meinung von Roland Iff, ehemaliger CFO von Geberit und Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats VZ VermögensZentrum sowie Bauwerk Parkett AG, beeinflusste die Auswahl. Dipl. Wirt.-Ingenieur Jens Bieniek, stellvertretender Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der dbh Logistics IT AG und Beiratsvorsitzender der Vollers Group GmbH, der zuvor unter anderem CFO der BLG Logistics Group AG & Co.KG war, hat die Einreichungen ebenfalls unter die Lupe genommen. Dr. rer. pol. Lars Grünert, CFO der TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. KG und langjähriger Experte im Bereich Controlling, komplettiert die hochkarätige Jury. Der ICV dankt allen für ihr Engagement.

The tension is rising – after intensive deliberations, the ICV Jury has selected the three nominees for the ICV Controlling Excellence Award 2024. But who are the experts who viewed and evaluated all the applications?
In 2024, in the usual tradition, the Award will be presented at the 48th Congress of Controllers. This coveted Award honors particularly innovative controlling solutions that make a significant contribution to the further development of controlling.
The Jury includes the Jury Chairman Prof. Dr. Utz Schäffer, Chairman of the ICV Board of Trustees and holder of the Chair of Controlling at the Institute for Management and Controlling at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Also there is Prof. Dr. Andreas Seufert, Head of the Business Innovation Lab at the Ludwigshafen University of Economics and Society and Director of the Institute for Business Intelligence at the Steinbeis University Berlin. Likewise, Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini, professor of controlling and risk management at Kiel University of Applied Sciences and Member of the Board of Directors of the Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein, influenced the decision. The opinion of Roland Iff, former CFO of Geberit and Member of the Board of Directors of VZ VermögensZentrum and Bauwerk Parkett AG, also influenced the selection. Dipl. Wirt.-Ingenieur Jens Bieniek, Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of dbh Logistics IT AG and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Vollers Group GmbH, and previously, among other things, CFO of BLG Logistics Group AG & Co.KG, also examined the submissions. Dr. rer. pol. Lars Grünert, CFO of TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. KG and long-time expert in the area of controlling, completes the top-class Jury. The ICV thanks everyone for their commitment.
