Am 20. April 2023 fand die ICV Gesundheitstagung Schweiz in Olten statt. Unter dem Motto “Controlling im Spannungsfeld von Innovation, Kostenmanagement und digitaler Transformation” bot die Veranstaltung des ICV/ICV Schweiz in Zusammenarbeit mit der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (FHNW) verschiedene Interessengruppen eine Plattform zum Erfahrungsaustausch und zur Netzwerkpflege. Zielgruppen waren ControllerInnen, Finanz- und Controllingverantwortliche, CFOs, ProjektleiterInnen, Business AnalystInnen aller Branchen sowie Kadermitarbeitende im Gesundheitswesen.
Die Gesundheitstagung widmete sich verschiedenen Themen wie der Komplexität im Gesundheitswesen, Selbstorganisation in der ambulanten Pflege, Kindermedizin nach der Pandemie und Process Mining im Spitalscontrolling. ExpertenInnen aus der Branche teilten ihre Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse in den Vorträgen.
Den Auftakt machte Sandra Solka, CFO und Prüfungsexpertin bei H+, mit einem Vortrag zur Komplexität im Gesundheitswesen. Dabei wurden unter anderem die Herausforderungen in der Unfallrehabilitation, die Finanzierung von ambulantem und stationärem Gesundheitswesen sowie die Unterschiede zwischen den Leistungen von UVG und KVG thematisiert.
Im Anschluss daran referierte Prof. Dr. Christoph Minning, Leiter des Instituts Nonprofit- und Public Management an der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW, zum Thema Selbstorganisation in der ambulanten Pflege. Dabei wurden Ideen, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Umsetzung sowie notwendige Entwicklungsschritte besprochen. Des Weiteren stellte er das Pflegemodell von Buurtzorg in den Niederlanden vor.
Der nächste Beitrag beschäftigte sich mit der Kindermedizin nach der Pandemie. Lukas Erb, CFO des Universitäts-Kinderspitals beider Basel, erläuterte dabei die Besonderheiten der Kindermedizin und diskutierte die Auswirkungen von Corona sowie die anstehenden Herausforderungen.
Laura Hangler von AT Solution Partner GmbH und Ramon Wandeler, Controller des Luzerner Kantonsspitals, präsentierten in ihrem Vortrag Erfahrungen zum Thema Process Mining im Spitalscontrolling. “Process Mining hat einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Kostenreduktion geleistet”, so Wandeler. “Der administrative Aufwand für die Abteilungsleiter konnte deutlich gesenkt werden.” Die Prozessdurchlaufzeit wurde als eine der wichtigsten Kennzahlen gewählt, um Debitorenausstände schneller zu reduzieren und Zahlungsziele bei Kreditoren besser nutzen zu können.
Die Gesundheitstagung Schweiz 2023 bot den TeilnehmerInnen nicht nur wertvolle Einblicke in die aktuellen Herausforderungen und Innovationen im Gesundheitswesen, sondern auch die Möglichkeit, Erfahrungen auszutauschen und zu netzwerken. Nach dem Austausch inklusive Apéro ging eine informative und gelungene Veranstaltung zu Ende.
On April 20, 2023, the ICV Health Care Conference Switzerland took place in Olten. Under the motto “Controlling in the tension field of innovation, cost management and digital transformation”, the event organized by ICV/ICV Switzerland in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) offered various interest groups a platform for exchanging experiences and cultivating networks. The target groups were controllers, those responsible for finance and controlling, CFOs, project managers, business analysts from all sectors and senior employees in the health care sector.
The Health Care Conference was dedicated to various topics such as the complexity of healthcare, self-organization in outpatient care, pediatric medicine after the pandemic and process mining in hospital controlling. Experts from the industry shared their experiences and insights in the presentations.
Sandra Solka, CFO and audit expert at H+, kicked things off with a presentation on the complexity of health care. Among other things, the challenges in accident rehabilitation, the financing of outpatient and inpatient health care and differences between the benefits of UVG and KVG were discussed.
Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Christoph Minning, Head of the Institute for Nonprofit and Public Management at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, talked on the subject of self-organization in outpatient care. Ideas, possibilities and limits of implementation as well as necessary development steps were discussed. He also presented the Buurtzorg care model in the Netherlands.
The next post dealt with pediatric medicine after the pandemic. Lukas Erb, CFO of the University Children’s Hospital Basel, explained the special features of pediatric medicine and discussed the effects of corona and the upcoming challenges.
In their presentation, Laura Hangler from AT Solution Partner GmbH and Ramon Wandeler, Controller of the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital, presented their experiences with Process Mining in hospital controlling. “Process mining has made an important contribution to reducing costs,” said Wandeler. “The administrative effort for the department heads could be significantly reduced.” The process throughput time was chosen as one of the most important key figures in order to reduce outstanding debts more quickly and to be able to make better use of payment targets for vendors.
The Health Care Conference Switzerland 2023 not only offered the participants valuable insights into the current challenges and innovations in the health care sector, but also the opportunity to exchange experiences and network. After the exchange including an aperitif, an informative and successful event came to an end.
