Der Regionaldelegierte Matthias Wolfskeil betonte die Bedeutung der vorausschauenden Navigation in seiner Eröffnungsansprache zur ICV Regionaltagung Nord. Dies gilt sowohl beim Segeln als auch im Controlling, um Klippen rechtzeitig zu erkennen und zu umgehen. An der ICV Herbsttagung in Kiel nahmen rund 45 ControllerInnen, FinanzleiterInnen, Studierende und Hochschulprofessorinnen teil. Die Veranstaltung gliederte sich in das Netzwerken am ersten Tag und inhaltliche Vorträge am zweiten Tag.
Die Stadtführung am Freitag enthüllte einige interessante Details über Kiel, einschließlich seiner Geschichte als Hansestadt und seiner Rolle im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Am Samstag wurden sechs verschiedene Vorträge gehalten. Ein Beispiel war die Präsentation des Shopfloor-Managements der MTU Maintenance Hannover GmbH als Führungsinstrument in der Fertigung.
Professorin Dr. Saskia Bochert sprach über die Bedeutung von Agilität im Controlling und betonte, dass dies nicht für alle Aspekte des Controllings gilt. Prof. Dr. Vanini von der FH Kiel erörterte die verschiedenen Ebenen der Nachhaltigkeit für Controller, wobei CO2-Reporting nur ein Teil davon ist.
Es wurde auch über das Thema “Inplacement” gesprochen, da viele Arbeitsverträge nicht eingehalten werden. Michael Preuß teilte seine Erfahrungen bei der Einführung eines BI-Tools, und Heike Adam erörterte die Gefahren der aktuellen Inflation und deren Auswirkungen auf Unternehmen.
Die Tagung in Kiel war anstrengend und inspirierend zugleich, und die Ziele des Netzwerkens und des Wissensaustauschs wurden erreicht. Ein Teilnehmer fasste es treffend zusammen: “Ich habe Controller nun anders kennengelernt.” Wir können uns auf die nächste gemeinsame Tagung der Nord-Arbeitskreise mit Gästen im Jahr 2025 freuen.
The Regional Delegate Matthias Wolfskeil emphasized the importance of forward-looking navigation in his opening speech at the ICV Regional Conference North. This applies to both sailing and controlling in order to recognize and avoid cliffs in good time. Around 45 controllers, financial managers, students and university professors took part in the ICV Autumn Conference in Kiel. The event was divided into networking on the first day and substantive lectures on the second day.
Friday’s city tour revealed some interesting details about Kiel, including its history as a Hanseatic city and its role in World War II. Six different lectures were held on Saturday. One example was the presentation of MTU Maintenance Hannover GmbH’s Shop Floor Management as a management tool in production.
Professor Dr. Saskia Bochert spoke about the importance of agility in controlling and emphasized that this does not apply to all aspects of controlling. Prof. Dr. Vanini from Kiel University of Applied Sciences discussed the different levels of sustainability for controllers, with CO2 reporting being just one part of it.
The topic of “inplacement” was also discussed, as many employment contracts are not being adhered to. Michael Preuß shared his experiences in introducing a BI tool, and Heike Adam discussed the dangers of current inflation and its impact on companies.
The conference in Kiel was both exhausting and inspiring, and the goals of networking and knowledge exchange were achieved. One participant summed it up aptly: “I have now gotten to know controllers differently.” We’re looking forward to the next joint conference of the northern Work Groups with guests in 2025.
