Die 32. Tagung des regionalen Arbeitskreises Heilbronn-Künzelsau des Internationalen Controller Vereins (ICV) Mitte Oktober am TUM Campus Heilbronn stand ganz im Zeichen der Digitalisierung. Den TUM Campus Heilbronn als Location hierfür auszuwählen war deshalb kein Zufall, denn wie bereits die Auftaktstudie „Fortschrittsbarometer Digitale Transformation im Mittelstand 2023“ zeigte, besteht bei vielen Unternehmen in Heilbronn-Franken Nachholbedarf bei der Digitalisierung. Dr. Christoph Geier, Mit-Autor und Director of Digital Transformation am Campus, stellte das Forschungsprojekt unter Leitung von Jens Förderer, Professor für Innovation und Digitalisierung am TUM Campus Heilbronn vor. Zentrale Ergebnisse der Studie: 62 Prozent der befragten Unternehmen verfügen über keine Digitalisierungsstrategie. Geschlossenheit im Management und Einbindung von Mitarbeitenden begünstigen eine erfolgreiche Transformation, Fachkräftemangel, Bürokratie und eine mangelnde Infrastruktur hingegen hemmen sie.
Wie das Controlling von der Digitalisierung profitieren kann, war Thema des Vortrags „Mit agiler Personalkostenplanung Profitabilität und Resilienz steigern“ von Ralf Schall, Success Manager der Firma Qvantum. Er stellte ein Tool vor, das Controlling-Prozesse schnell, sicher, kostengünstig und ohne zusätzliche IT-Unterstützung umsetzen soll.
Daniel A. Gottschald, Geschäftsführer der TUM Campus Heilbronn gGmbH, spannte den Bogen zwischen Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft und zeigte sich überzeugt, dass Controlling seine Bedeutung auch durch den verstärkten Einsatz von Künstlicher Intelligenz nicht verlieren werde. Zum Ende der Veranstaltung gab es für die Teilnehmenden noch eine Führung über den Bildungscampus.
Die Tagung ist Teil der Kooperation des regionalen Arbeitskreises Heilbronn-Künzelsau des ICV mit der TUM Campus Heilbronn gGmbH als Mitglied des ICV. Im April hatte Claudia Maron, Head of Strategic Controlling and Risk Management at DATEV eG und ICV-Vorstandsmitglied, am TUM Campus Heilbronn einen Gastvortrag über Controlling als Beruf gehalten.
The 32nd meeting of the Regional Work Group Heilbronn-Künzelsau of the International Association of Controllers (ICV) in mid-October at the TUM Campus Heilbronn was all about digitalization. Choosing the TUM Campus Heilbronn as the location for this was no coincidence, because as the initial study “Progress Barometer Digital Transformation in SMEs 2023” already showed, many companies in Heilbronn-Franconia have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to digitalization. Dr. Christoph Geier, co-author and Director of Digital Transformation at the campus, presented the research project led by Jens Förderer, Professor of Innovation and Digitalization at the TUM Campus Heilbronn. Key results of the study: 62 percent of the companies surveyed do not have a digitalization strategy. Unity in management and the involvement of employees promote successful transformation, while a lack of skilled workers, bureaucracy and a lack of infrastructure hinder it.
How controlling can benefit from digitalization was the topic of the lecture “Increasing profitability and resilience with agile personnel cost planning” by Ralf Schall, Success Manager at Qvantum. He presented a tool that is intended to implement controlling processes quickly, securely, cost-effectively and without additional IT support.
Daniel A. Gottschald, Managing Director of TUM Campus Heilbronn gGmbH, bridged the gap between science and business and was convinced that controlling will not lose its importance due to the increased use of artificial intelligence. At the end of the event, participants were given a tour of the educational campus.
The conference is part of the cooperation between the ICV Regional Work Group Heilbronn-Künzelsau and the TUM Campus Heilbronn gGmbH as a member of the ICV. In April, Claudia Maron, Head of Strategic Controlling and Risk Management at DATEV eG and ICV Board Member, gave a guest lecture on controlling as a profession at the TUM Campus Heilbronn.
