Am zweiten Tag des 47. Congress der Controller, auf dem sich am 15./16. Mai in München die Controlling-Community trifft, stehen Keynotes zu aktuellen Themen auf dem Programm. Am Dienstag ab 09:40 Uhr widmet sich Oliver Knapp, Global Co-Head of Operations bei Roland Berger GmbH, dem Thema “Cost Containment & Inflation Defense”.
Der Referent hat in über 20 Jahren zahlreiche Transformations-, Kostensenkungs- und Digitalisierungsprojekte im Bereich Einkauf und anderen Operations-Funktionen verantwortet. Sein Schwerpunkt lag dabei insbesondere in den Industrien Automobil, Maschinen- und Anlagenbau sowie Konsumgüter und Transportation. Zuvor studierte er Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen an der University of Denver und der Fachhochschule in Aalen.
In seinem Vortrag geht Oliver Knapp unter anderem auf Preisentwicklung von Waren und Dienstleistungen ein und untersucht den Einfluss geopolitischer und wirtschaftlicher Blockbildung auf die Kostenentwicklung. Auch offensive und defensive Kostenhebel werden vom Referenten benannt. Weitere Punkte sind die Rolle von Controlling, Beschaffung und anderen Stakeholdern sowie der Wert digitaler Werkzeuge.

On the second day of the 47th Congress of Controllers, where the controlling community meets on May 15/16 in Munich, keynotes on current topics are on the program. On Tuesday at 09:40 a.m. Oliver Knapp, Global Co-Head of Operations at Roland Berger GmbH, focuses on the topic of “Cost Containment & Inflation Defense”.
In more than 20 years, the speaker has been responsible for numerous transformation, cost reduction and digitization projects in the area of purchasing and other operations functions. His focus was in particular on the automotive, mechanical and plant engineering industries as well as consumer goods and transportation. He previously studied industrial engineering at the University of Denver and the University of Applied Sciences in Aalen.
In his lecture, Oliver Knapp focuses on, among other things, the price development of goods and services and examine the influence of geopolitical and economic block formation on cost development. The speaker also names offensive and defensive cost levers. Other points are the role of controlling, procurement and other stakeholders as well as the value of digital tools.
