Die ICV Arbeitskreise der Region Deutschland Nord laden nach Kiel ein: Unter dem Motto „Controlling norddeutsch – Klippen umschiffen“ findet am 22./23. September die Regionaltagung Nord in der schleswig-holsteinischen Landeshauptstadt statt.
Die ControllerInnen treffen sich zum fachlichen Austausch in der Fachhochschule Kiel, an der Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Controlling lehrt. Zu Beginn der Veranstaltung wird die Professorin gemeinsam mit ihrer Kollegin Prof. Dr. Saskia Bochert den Fachbereich Wirtschaft näher vorstellen. Ihre fachliche Expertise teilt sie außerdem in einem Vortrag zum Thema „Aufgaben und Kompetenzprofile von NachhaltigkeitscontrollerInnen“.
Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini bekleidet parallel zu ihrer Lehrtätigkeit zahlreiche weitere Ämter. So ist sie zum Beispiel Sprecherin des Forschungsclusters Nachhaltige Wertschöpfung an der Fachhochschule Kiel und in verschiedenen Organisationen und Gremien aktiv. Sie ist Mitglied des Kuratoriums des Landesvereins für Innere Mission Schleswig-Holstein und wirkt als Gutachterin für namhafte Wissenschaftsorganisationen wie AiF, Wissenschaftsrat, FFG, Zeitschriften und die CARF-Konferenz der Hochschule Luzern. Darüber hinaus engagiert sich die Wissenschaftlerin als Mitglied im Beirat der Risk Management Association (RMA) und als Jurymitglied für den ICV Controlling Excellence Award. In einer weiteren Rolle zeichnet sie als Mitherausgeberin für die Fachzeitschrift “Rethinking Finance” des Otto Schmidt Verlags verantwortlich.
Als Dozentin teilt Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini ihr Wissen nicht nur mit den Studierenden der Fachhochschule Kiel, sondern auch mit denen der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, ihrer Alma Mater. Dort lehrt sie im weiterbildenden Master-Studiengang Hospital Management. Auch an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg und der Fachhochschule Vorarlberg ist ihre Expertise im Masterstudiengang Auditing bzw. bei der Betreuung von Masterthesen gefragt. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte von Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini umfassen Themen wie Nachhaltigkeitscontrolling, die Umsetzung von Risikomanagementsystemen, Rollen im Risikomanagement sowie die Integration von Risikomanagement und Controlling,.

The ICV work groups of the North Germany region invite you to Kiel: Under the motto “Controlling North German – Avoiding cliffs” the Regional Conference North takes place on September 22/23 in the capital of Schleswig-Holstein.
The controllers meet for professional exchange at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel, where Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini teaches general business administration and controlling. At the beginning of the event, the professor and her colleague Prof. Dr. Saskia Bochert present the Economics department in more detail. She also shares her professional expertise in a lecture on the topic “Tasks and competence profiles of sustainability controllers”.
Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini holds numerous other positions parallel to her teaching activities. For example, she is spokeswoman for the research cluster Sustainable Value Creation at Kiel University of Applied Sciences and is active in various organizations and committees. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Schleswig-Holstein State Association for Inner Mission and acts as an expert for well-known scientific organizations such as AiF, Wissenschaftsrat, FFG, magazines and the CARF conference of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In addition, the scientist is a member of the advisory board of the Risk Management Association (RMA) and a member of the Jury for the ICV Controlling Excellence Award. In another role, she is co-editor of the specialist journal “Rethinking Finance” published by Otto Schmidt Verlag.
As a lecturer, Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini shares her knowledge not only with the students at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences, but also with those at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel, her alma mater. There she teaches in the postgraduate master’s program in Hospital Management. Her expertise is also in demand at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences in the master’s degree in auditing and in the supervision of master’s theses. The research focus of Prof. Dr. Ute Vanini includes topics such as sustainability controlling, the implementation of risk management systems, roles in risk management and the integration of risk management and controlling.
