Am Dienstag war es so weit: Alle, die die 19. CCS Controlling Competence in den SPACES am 25. November mit ihrem Input bereichern, haben sich zur Generalprobe getroffen. Wie es sich für die CCS, die seit 2020 in neuem 3-D-Gewand statt in Präsenz angeboten wird, gehört, waren alle als Avatare anwesend. Einige schon im finalen Event-Outfit, andere noch im legeren Look. Egal, in welcher Optik: Es wurde geprobt, gelernt, gefragt, sich ausgetauscht. Schließlich waren neben den Referierenden und den Moderatorinnen und Moderatoren auch alle da, die sich am 25. November persönlich um das Wohlergehen aller (online) Anwesenden kümmern werden: Erstmals gibt es für jeden CCS-Eventpart einen Betreuenden, der direkt vor Ort ansprechbar ist und sich um alle Anliegen kümmert. Wie im Vorjahr – der erfolgreichen Premiere der CCS in den SPACES – bietet die ICV Herbsttagung wieder ein umfangreiches Programm. Den Rahmen bilden die Keynote-Vorträge. Themen 2021 sind die arbeitsmarktlichen Herausforderungen der digitalen Transformation, dargestellt vom Leiter Strategisches Controlling der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Dr. Roland Deinzer. Prof. Dr. Matthias Mahlendorf von der Frankfurt School of Finance & Management wird über „Alternative Data“ sprechen und zeigen, wie diese externen Daten von Controlling-, Finance- und Strategieabteilungen verwendet werden können. Wie Mensch und Maschine in KI-zentrischen Controlling-Projekten als Team funktionieren, verrät Viktoria Winkler, Managerin BI bei der Braincourt GmbH. Chancen, Grenzen und moralische Probleme im Spannungsfeld KI und Mensch zeigt abschließend Dr. Tobias Holischka auf. Er ist akademischer Rat der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
Der Keynote-Rahmen wird im Zentrum gefüllt von Vorträgen, denen sich eine Podiumsdiskussion oder ein World Café/Workshop anschließt. Die Vorträge finden in drei Zeiträumen und jeweils passend zu einem der sechs CCS-Sessionthemen statt: Digitale Transformation, Sustainable Finance, Finance & Legal, New Skills & KI im Recruiting, Controller’s Toolbox sowie Digitalisierung & Automatisierung stehen zur Wahl. Sie decken den aktuellen Wissensbedarf rund Controlling und Unternehmenssteuerung sicher ab – mit Einblicken in Theorie und Praxis gleichermaßen.
Dazu kommen innovative Angebote, sich online zu treffen (Open Connect), genauer kennenzulernen (Speed Connect) und/oder gemeinsame Interessensthemen im kleinen Kreis frei von Vorgaben ganz nach den Vorstellungen der Teilnehmenden zu besprechen, zu bearbeiten, zu vertiefen (Themen Connect).

On Tuesday the time had come: everyone who enriched the 19th CCS Controlling Competence in the SPACES on November 25 with their input met for the dress rehearsal. As at the CCS, which has been offered in a new 3-D world since 2020 instead of on-site event, everyone was present as avatars. Some already in their final event outfit, others still in a casual look. Regardless of the look: the rehearsal is done, lessons learned, questions asked and ideas exchanged. After all, in addition to the speakers and moderators, everyone was there who will personally take care of the well-being of everyone (online) on November 25: For the first time, there is a supervisor for each CCS part who can be contacted directly on-site and takes care of all concerns. In this way, everyone is guaranteed to reach the desired event area easily and safely, and even less experienced or not online-savvy visitors have immediate support whenever they need it. As in the previous year – the successful premiere of the CCS in the SPACES – the ICV autumn conference again offers an extensive program. The keynote speeches provide the framework. Topics in 2021 are the labor market challenges of digital transformation, presented by the Head of Strategic Controlling at the (German) Federal Employment Agency, Dr. Roland Deinzer. Prof. Dr. Matthias Mahlendorf from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management talks about “Alternative Data” and show how this external data can be used by controlling, finance and strategy departments. Viktoria Winkler, BI manager at Braincourt GmbH, reveals how man and machine work as a team in AI-centric controlling projects. In conclusion, Dr. Tobias Holischka, shows opportunities, limits and moral problems in the area of conflict between AI and humans. He is academic advisor to the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
The keynote frames are filled with lectures, which are followed by a panel discussion or a world café / workshop.
