Auf ein weiteres erfolgreiches Geschäftsjahr 2023 konnte bei der ICV Mitgliederversammlung in München am 28. April der Vorstandsvorsitzende Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler zurückblicken. Auch der Ausblick auf das Geschäftsjahr 2024 mit einem ersten Highlight von rund 550 Teilnehmenden beim Congress der Controller stimmt optimistisch. Im November 2024 ruft zudem die neu ausgerichtete Herbsttagung CCS die Teilnehmenden erstmals zur Digital Week als Avatare ins Metaverse der icvIspaces.
Heimo Losbichler eröffnete die Mitgliederversammlung mit einer Gedenkminute und einem Dankeschön für Dr. Walter Schmidt. Das ehemalige Vorstandsmitglied und aktiver Part der Internationalisierung im ICV ist 2023 verstorben und posthum zum Ehrenmitglied des ICV ernannt worden.
Der Vorstandsvorsitzende nahm die Mitglieder im Anschluss mit auf die Reise durch das vergangene Vereinsjahr. Dabei blickte man gemeinsam auf die strategischen Ziele und den enormen Fundus des im ICV erneut in verschiedenen Gremien erarbeiteten und auf unterschiedlichsten Kanälen geteilte Wissen – online, print, in Präsenz- und Online- Veranstaltungen. Allein 15 ICV Live Webinare wurden 2023 angeboten und gerne von Mitgliedern und Interessenten genutzt.
Vier neue ICV Fachkreise wurden 2023 gegründet: HR Controlling, nextgen@planning, Change Management & Finance sowie Life Sciences.
Hoch ist und bleibt das Interesse von Externen, mit dem ICV zu kooperieren. Die Partnerschaften nutzt der ICV, um Vorteile für seine Mitglieder zu generieren, etwa in Form von Rabatten bei der Teilnahme an Veranstaltungen der Kooperationspartner. Auch das Interesse von Unternehmen an der Firmenmitgliedschaft im ICV ist ungebrochen hoch. 31 neue Firmenmitglieder konnte der Verein 2023 in seinen Reihen begrüßen. Die Gesamtzahl steigt damit auf rund 260.
Ein ausdrückliches Dankeschön ging bei der Mitgliederversammlung an Peter Bluhm von Atvisio für die Interview-Beiträge mit VertreterInnen des ICV und rund um den ICV in seinem Performance Manager Podcast, mit dem er den Verein ehrenamtlich unterstützt. Außerdem ist Atvisio seit vielen Jahren Hauptsponsor des ICV Controlling Excellence Awards.
Ein Augenmerk richtete Heimo Losbichler auf das erfolgreich in einen höheren Professionalisierungsgrad übergegangene ICV Mentoring Programm, das exklusiv für ICV Mitglieder zur Verfügung steht. Im Mitgliederportal können Interessenten nun mit Interessens- und Kompetenzabgleichen schneller und einfacher ihren bestmöglichen Matchingpartner finden.
Für Studierende wurde 2023 ein besonderer Service gestartet: Sie können auf der ICV Website die Details zu Umfragen zu ihren Master-/Bachelorarbeiten platzieren.
Stellvertretend für das ICV Kuratorium blickte dessen Vorsitzender Prof. Dr. Utz Schäffer auf das vergangene Jahr zurück. Er verwies dabei insbesondere auf das Update der Grundsatzposition von ICV und IGC und die gemeinsam mit der WHU durchgeführte 5 . Zukunftsstudie des Controllings sowie auf den Workshop von Kuratorium und Vorstand mit Young Finance Professionals im Hinblick auf das Ziel, die Diversität im ICV zu erhöhen.
Im Rahmen der Mitgliederversammlung wurden auch wieder langjährige Mitglieder geehrt. 2023 waren 99 Mitglieder jeweils 20, 30 oder 40 Jahre als persönliches Mitglied im ICV gelistet. Wie in jedem Jahr bereicherten die persönlich anwesenden Geehrten mit ihren Wortbeiträgen über ihre Verbindung zum ICV und ihre Motivation für die langjährige Treue die Veranstaltung. Die nächste Mitgliederversammlung findet am 27. April 2025 statt.
At the ICV General Meeting in Munich on April 28, the Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler looks back at a good year. The outlook for the 2024 financial year with an initial highlight of around 550 participants at the Congress of Controllers is also optimistic. In November 2024, the newly reorganized CCS Autumn Conference will call participants for the first time to the Digital Week as avatars in the metaverse of the icvIspaces.
Heimo Losbichler opened the General Meeting with a minute’s silence and a thank you for Dr. Walter Schmidt. The former Board Member and active part in internationalization in the ICV died in 2023 and was posthumously made an Honorary Member of the ICV.
Then the Chairman of the Board took the members on a journey through the past Association’s year. We looked together at the strategic goals and the enormous pool of knowledge that was once again developed in the ICV in various committees and shared in a variety of channels – online, in print, in face-to-face and online events. 15 ICV live webinars alone were offered in 2023 and were enjoyed by members and interested parties.
Four new ICV Expert Work Groups were founded in 2023: HR Controlling, nextgen@planning, Change Management & Finance and Life Sciences.
The interest of external parties in cooperating with the ICV is and remains high. The ICV uses the partnerships to generate benefits for its members, for example in the form of discounts when participating in events organized by the cooperation partners. The interest of companies in corporate membership in the ICV continues to be high. The Association welcomed 31 new corporate members to its ranks in 2023. This brings the total number to around 260.
At the General Meeting, a special thank you went to Peter Bluhm from Atvisio for the interview contributions with representatives of the ICV and everything related to the ICV in his Performance Manager Podcast, with which he supports the Association on a voluntary basis. Atvisio has also been the main sponsor of the ICV Controlling Excellence Awards for many years.
Heimo Losbichler paid attention to the ICV Mentoring Program, which has successfully transitioned to a higher level of professionalization and is available exclusively for ICV members. In the Member Portal, interested parties can now find their best possible matching partner more quickly and easily using interest and skills comparisons.
A special service was launched for students in 2023: You can place the details of surveys about your master/bachelor theses on the ICV website.
On behalf of the ICV Board of Trustees, its Chairman Prof. Dr. Utz Schäffer looks back on the past year. He referred in particular to the update of the Perspective of the ICV and IGC and the one carried out together with the WHU 5th Future Study of Controlling as well as the workshop between the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors with Young Finance Professionals with a view to the goal of increasing diversity in the ICV.
Long-standing members were honored again at the General Meeting. In 2023, 99 members were listed as personal members of the ICV for 20, 30 or 40 years. As every year, the honorees who were present in person enriched the event with their contributions about their connection to the ICV and their motivation for their long-standing loyalty. The next General Meeting takes place on April 27, 2025.
