And how does it look like in business practice? – The ICV International Association of Controllers has a great offer for you: a public and free ICV online seminar “RPA in practice – experience reports from finance and controlling” on March 2, 5 pm-6pm.
Automation and standardization are very high on the finance agenda of many companies as efficiency levers. Does the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) instrument keep what it promises? So is it worthwhile for finance departments to focus on it in more detail or to introduce the tools and methods?
RPA experiences from several years of Swiss practice are presented by experts from various industries in the ICV online seminar. The online event is moderated by Dr. Florian Hohmann, Deputy Head of the ICV expert work group Digital CFO Agenda, Lecturer and Project Manager at the Institute for Accounting Controlling & Auditing at the University of St. Gallen. Three speakers provide insights into corporate practice. A valuable wealth of experience is presented, especially since there is no generally applicable best practice formula for the successful use of RPA. The ICV expert work group Digital CFO Agenda deals with the diverse topics of digital transformation in the financial sector. Current trends are highlighted, associated practical examples from Swiss companies are discussed and supplemented with scientific findings. The expert work group develops recommendations for action and offers insights into the experiences of the expert group members.
