Die Spannung steigt. Der ICV freut sich nicht nur auf die erste Präsenzveranstaltung des Jahres, sondern auch auf die Verleihung des ICV Newcomer Awards 2021 auf der Nord-Ost-Tagung am 18. September in Schwerin. „Es ist das Anliegen des ICV, innovative und praktikable Ideen von der Hochschule in die Controllingpraxis zu transferieren und somit einer breiten Controllerschaft zugänglich zu machen“, fasst Matthias von Daacke, stellvertretender Vorstandsvorsitzender des ICV zusammen.
Bis zum 15. Mai konnte sich der akademische Controlling-Nachwuchs für den Preis bewerben. In der Zwischenzeit hat die Jury die Wissenschaftlichkeit, den Innovationsgrad und die Ableitbarkeit von Implikationen für die Controllingpraxis der eingereichten Arbeiten bewertet. Die JurorInnen Prof. Dr. Nicole Jekel, Ute Schröder, Prof. Dr. Solveig Reißig Thust, Christina Keindorf und Gunnar Elbers prämieren drei Masterarbeiten oder herausragende Bachelorarbeiten, die sowie Controllinginnovationen als auch klassische Controllingthemen in der Anwendung thematisieren. Die FinalistenInnen des Jahres 2021 stehen bereits fest: Die Arbeiten behandeln Budgetierungsmethoden, Kostenrechnungsthemen und Risikomanagement.
Im Rahmen der ICV Nord-Ost-Tagung am 18. September werden diese dann offiziell geehrt. Mit insgesamt 4.000 Euro sponsoren Haufe und Haufe Akademie den Award. Die PreisträgerInnen erhalten zudem einen personalisierten digitalen Badge zur freien Verwendung und eine kostenfreie ICV-Mitgliedschaft für ein Jahr, die den Bezug des Controller Magazins einschließt.
Die Ausschreibung für das nächste Jahr ist ebenfalls bereits gestartet. Betreuende Professorinnen und Professoren von Abschlussarbeiten können diese bis zum 15. Mai 2022 beim ICV einreichen. Mehr Informationen finden Sie unter:

The tension is rising. The ICV is not only looking forward to the first face-to-face event of the year, but also to the presentation of the ICV Newcomer Award 2021 at the North-East Conference on September 18 in Schwerin. “It is the aim of the ICV to transfer innovative and practicable ideas from the university into the controlling practice and thus to make them accessible to a broad controlling community”, summarizes Matthias von Daacke, Vice Chairman of the Board of the ICV.
Until May 15, young academic controlling newcomers could apply for the Award. In the meantime, the Jury has assessed the scientific nature, degree of innovation and the deducibility of implications for the controlling practice of the submitted work. The Jurors Prof. Dr. Nicole Jekel, Ute Schröder, Prof. Dr. Solveig Reißig Thust, Christina Keindorf and Gunnar Elbers award three master theses or outstanding bachelor theses that deal with controlling innovations as well as classic controlling topics. The finalists for 2021 have already been determined: The theses deal with budgeting methods, cost accounting issues and risk management.
These will then be officially honored at the ICV North-East Conference (LANGUAGE: GERMAN) on September 18. Haufe and Haufe Akademie sponsor the Award with a total of 4,000 euros. The winners also receive a personalized digital badge for free use and a free ICV membership for one year, which includes the purchase of the Controller Magazin (in German).
