Die Krise meistern UND sich für die Zeit danach rüsten: Auch wenn Corona zumindest noch in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2021 die Unternehmen fordert, gilt es längst den Blick nach vorne zu richten. Wer sich als Controller wie Manager vorbereiten und Strategien für den Aufschwung entwickeln will, muss sich mit den Themen Nachhaltigkeit, digitaler Wandel, Transformation & Disruption, Künstliche Intelligenz, Future of Work oder Performance Management beschäftigen. Wie das Unternehmen in den verschiedensten Themenfeldern erfolgreich tun, dafür wird der 45. Congress der Controller am 26./27. April kostbare Einblicke geben; so auch im Themenzentrum „Future of Work im Controlling” am Nachmittag des Eröffnungstages.
Alle drei Referierenden in diesem von Dipl.-Kaufmann Jens Ropers (linkes Bild), Partner, CA Akademie AG, moderierten Themenzentrum arbeiten im ICV-Fachkreis „Future of Work“ mit. Den Eröffnungsvortrag hält Angela Saloch (2.v.l.). Sie ist Teamleiterin Controlling Flight Ops & TFM bei der Deutschen Lufthansa AG in Frankfurt am Main. Sie kann über agile Methoden in ihrer Arbeitspraxis berichten, wie etwa Scrum als Steuerungsinstrument für die tägliche Arbeit im Controlling. Sie lässt die Zuhörenden teilhaben an der Entwicklung „vom Experiment zur Routine“; am Aufbau und schließlich der Führung eines Scrum-Teams im Controlling. Dabei erklärt sie, wie Rollen und Tools für die tägliche Arbeit angepasst wurden, wie Stand-ups in virtuellen Teams funktionieren: „Alles eine Frage der Organisation!“, so Angela Saloch. Mit ihrem Vortrag wird sie wichtige Erfolgsfaktoren für Akzeptanz und Begeisterung im Team vorstellen und auf die Rolle des Teamleiters im Prozess und Veränderung in der Führung eingehen.
Der Digitalisierung und Agilität im Controlling bzw. bei Controllern widmet sich in diesem Themenzentrum auch Jochen Fellhauer (3.v.l.) von der SAP SE in Walldorf. Er will in seinem Vortrag erklären, wie Controller zu Treibern der Digitalisierung werden und nicht zu Getriebenen, und was aus seiner Sicht „Agilität“ konkret im Kontext von Controlling bedeutet. Auch bei ihm geht es um Fragen der Führung: Wie sehen Ansätze zur Aktivierung von Mitarbeitern aus? Wie kann Unterstützung eigenverantwortlicher Innovation gelingen?
Dritte Referentin im Themenzentrum ist Katharina Hochfeld (Bild rechts), Stellvertretende Leiterin des Center for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI) Fraunhofer IAO, Berlin. Sie hilft die Frage zu beantworten, wie Controller*innen den Wandel gestalten können. „(Unternehmenskultur)Wandel“ ist dabei ein wichtiges Stichwort und Katharina Hochfeld widmet sich den Erfolgsfaktoren für die Umgestaltung. Dabei führt sie die Zuhörenden „von den Tools zur Sensibilisierung und Reflexion, über Kreativitätssteigerung bis hin zur Gestaltung“.
Zum krönenden Abschluss des Themenzentrums gibt es eine Diskussionsrunde, an der neben den Referierenden auch der Leiter des ICV-Fachkreises „Future of Work“, Dr. Rüdiger Eichin, SAP SE, teilnimmt.

Mastering the crisis AND preparing for the time after it: Even if corona still challenges companies at least in the first half of 2021, it has long been important to look ahead. Anyone who, as a controller or manager, wants to prepare and develop strategies for the upswing must deal with the topics of sustainability, digital change, transformation & disruption, artificial intelligence, the future of work or performance management. Precious insights gives the 45th Congress of Controllers on April 26/27; as well as the topic cluster “Future of Work in Controlling” in the afternoon of the opening day.
All three speakers in this topic cluster, moderated by Dipl.-Kaufmann Jens Ropers (left picture), partner, CA Akademie AG, work in the ICV expert work group “Future of Work”. Angela Saloch (2nd from the left) gives the opening lecture. She is team leader Controlling Flight Ops & TFM at Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Frankfurt am Main. She can report on agile methods in her work practice, such as scrum as a management tool for the daily work in controlling. She lets the audience participate in the development “from experiment to routine”; on setting up and ultimately leading a scrum team in controlling. She explains how roles and tools have been adapted for daily work, how stand-ups work in virtual teams: “It’s all a question of organization!” – says Angela Saloch. With her lecture, she presents important success factors for acceptance and enthusiasm in the team and addresses the role of the team leader in the process and change in leadership.
Jochen Fellhauer (3rd from left) from SAP SE in Walldorf also dedicates himself to digitization and agility in controlling and controllers in this topic cluster. In his lecture, he wants to explain how controllers become drivers of digitization and not driven ones, and what, from his point of view, “agility” means specifically in the context of controlling. He deals also with questions of leadership: What are the approaches to activating employees? How can support for independent innovation succeed?
The third speaker at the topic cluster is Katharina Hochfeld (right picture), Deputy Head of the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI) Fraunhofer IAO, Berlin. She helps to answer the question of how controllers can shape change. “(Corporate culture) change” is an important keyword here and Katharina Hochfeld focuses on the success factors for the redesign. In doing so, she guides the audience “from the tools for sensitization and reflection, to increasing creativity and design”.
The crowning glory of the topic cluster is a discussion round, in which the speakers and the Head of the ICV “Future of Work” expert work group, Dr. Rüdiger Eichin, SAP SE, takes part.
