A request for support from the FH Upper Austria has reached us: As part of his master thesis “Forecasting using Predictive Analytics” in the study program Controlling, Accounting and Financial Management of the Faculty Steyr Thomas Hutflötz is looking for participants of an online survey. The aim of the survey is to determine the current state of implementation for the use of predictive analytics for the preparation of forecasts.
“Predictive analytics are technology-based statistical models to predict future developments based on existing data,” the study author explains, adding to the survey methodology: “The data collected through the survey are analyzed using selected statistical methods. To receive the results of this survey, participants can enter their email address at the end of the survey. This is recorded independently of their other answers and is used exclusively for sending the study results. Absolute anonymity is assured in the study.”
