Das ControllerPanel der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Campus Vallendar (ICV-Firmenmitglied), in Kooperation mit dem ICV Internationaler Controller Verein hat in einer zweiten Runde seine Blitzumfrage zur Krisenbetroffenheit fortgesetzt. Nachdem Ende März CFOs und Controllingleiter erstmals befragt und die Ergebnisse vorgestellt worden waren, gab es nun Anfang Mai eine „Nachfrage“.
Das aktualisierte Stimmungsbild ist interessant, u.a. wird deutlich, dass in der Krise die Bedeutung von Forecasts zunimmt, deren Frequenz und Detailgrad erhöht wird. Die Bedeutung von Ist-Werten für die Unternehmenssteuerung wurde ebenso herausgearbeitet, wie die Anpassung der Jahresziele und das Vorgehen bei der Budgetierung. Interessante Erkenntnisse gibt es auch zu Investitionen in die Digitalisierung.

Szenarioplanung als Steuerungsinstrument in der aktuellen Situation.
The ControllerPanel of the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar campus (ICV corporate member), in cooperation with the ICV International Association of Controllers, continued its flash survey on the impact on the crisis in a second round. After CFOs and controlling managers were interviewed for the first time at the end of March and the results were presented, there was now a “re-survey” at the beginning of May.
The updated mood is interesting, e.g. it becomes clear that in the crisis the importance of forecasts increases, their frequency and level of detail too. The importance of current data for corporate management has been worked out, as was the adjustment of the annual targets and the procedure for budgeting. There are also interesting insights into investments in digitization.
