Die heutige Arbeitswelt ändert sich rasant. Digitale Technologien durchdringen mittlerweile jeden Unternehmensbereich und oftmals muss das Zusammenspiel von Mensch und Maschine in Einklang gebracht werden. Mit dieser Herausforderung beschäftigt sich auch das Fraunhofer-Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation. Gemeinsam mit Unternehmen entwickeln die ExpertenInnen Strategien, Modelle und Lösungen, mit denen die digitale Transformation gelingt. Eine von ihnen ist Katharina Hochfeld. Die stellvertretende Leiterin des Centers for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI) beschäftigt sich in ihren Projekten vor allem mit der Rolle der Organisationskultur in Veränderungsprozessen. Der New Work-Expertin geht es vor allem darum, die Digitalisierung verantwortlich zu gestalten. Dafür erforscht Katharina Hochfeld die Führungskultur von Unternehmen und die Chancen der Arbeitsorganisation. Auch die Rolle des Controllings interessiert die Sozial- und Politikwissenschaftlerin.
Die Erkenntnisse ihrer Forschungsarbeit teilt sie als Referentin auf dem 45. Congress der Controller am 26./27. April im Themenzentrum B „Future of Work im Controlling“. Der Titel ihres Vortrags „Als Controller/-in den Wandel gestalten“ lässt bereits erahnen, dass Katharina Hochfeld eine konkrete Vorstellung hat, welche Rolle ControllerInnen im Zuge der digitalen Transformation einnehmen. Sie räumt ControllerInnen die Möglichkeit ein, ein Wegbereiter im Unternehmen zu werden. Dabei benennt die Expertin Erfolgsfaktoren für die Gestaltung von (Kultur)Wandel und stellt Tools zur Sensibilisierung und Reflexion vor. Zudem findet auch Erwähnung, wie ControllerInnen bei Transformationsprozessen unterstützt werden können.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering and Organization is also addressing this challenge. Together with companies, the experts develop strategies, models and solutions how digital transformation can succeed. One of them is Katharina Hochfeld. In her projects, the Deputy Head of the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI) primarily deals with the role of organizational culture in change processes. The new work expert is primarily concerned with shaping digitization responsibly. To this end, Katharina Hochfeld researches the management culture of companies and the opportunities of work organization. The social and political scientist is also interested in the role of controlling.
She shares the findings of her research work as a speaker at the 45th Congress of Controllers on April 26/27 (online event, in German) in the Topic Cluster B “Future of Work in Controlling”. The title of her speech “Shaping change as a controller” already suggests that Katharina Hochfeld has a concrete idea of the role controllers play in the course of digital transformation. The change gives controllers the opportunity to become pioneers in the company. The expert names success factors for the design of (culture) change and presents tools for sensitization and reflection. She also shows how controllers can be supported in transformation processes.
